The Helle Gaupe is an all-round outdoor knife. The name Gaupe means lynx in Norwegian. The handle is made from stunning birch wood and enhanced with a subtle finger guard. This is the protrusion on the handle that ensures you don’t slip and end up on the blade. The handle was shaped, polished and oiled by hand to give it it’s unique character. The blade is made from a core of hard stainless steel, laminated in between two layers of 18/8 stainless steel. This core has a razor-sharp edge and is easy to sharpen.
